Creator Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Hullor,

Hullor is a Creator Commerce Platform that empowers home-grown brands, artisans, makers, creators and entrepreneurs to build their brand, share their story, connect with customers and sell their products through a content-first commerce ecosystem.

By creating an account or listing products on Hullor, you ("Creator", "Seller", "Maker", "Brand") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Becoming a Hullor Creator

By registering on Hullor, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or are legally authorised to operate your business.
  • The information provided during registration is true, complete and up to date.
  • You own the products, brand and content you publish, or have the necessary rights and permissions to use them.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Your Brand, Your Story

Hullor believes every product has a story.

As a Creator, you are encouraged to publish content including but not limited to:

  • Brand story
  • Founder journey
  • Product-making process
  • Behind-the-scenes videos
  • Customer experiences
  • Educational content
  • Live sessions
  • Images, reels and blogs

Your content helps customers discover, trust and purchase your products.

3. Ownership

Everything you create belongs to you.

You retain ownership of:

  • Your brand
  • Product designs
  • Logos
  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Written content
  • Intellectual property
  • Images, reels and blogs

By uploading content to Hullor, you grant Hullor a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, promote, distribute and market your content across its website, mobile application, social media channels, advertising campaigns, newsletters, promotional events and partner platforms for the purpose of promoting your brand and the Hullor ecosystem.

4. Content Standards

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Is false or misleading.
  • Infringes another person's intellectual property.
  • Contains hate speech, abusive language or discrimination.
  • Promotes illegal activities.
  • Contains offensive, obscene, pornographic or harmful materials/contents.
  • Misrepresents your products or business.

Hullor reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards.

5. Product Listings

You are solely responsible for ensuring that:

  • Product descriptions are accurate.
  • Images represent the actual product.
  • Prices are correct.
  • Inventory information is updated.
  • Products comply with applicable laws.
  • Products are safe and fit for sale.

6. Creator Commerce Model

Hullor is not merely an online marketplace.

Hullor provides creators with opportunities to:

  • Build a public brand profile
  • Publish engaging content
  • Showcase their journey
  • Reach new audiences
  • Participate in campaigns
  • Sell products
  • Build customer communities

Hullor may feature creators in editorial content, collections, campaigns and promotional activities.

Selection for featured placements remains at Hullor's sole discretion.

7. Orders & Payments

When customers purchase your products through Hullor:

  • Orders will be communicated to you through the Platform.
  • You agree to fulfil orders within the committed timeline.
  • Payments shall be processed after deducting applicable commissions, payment gateway charges, taxes or other agreed fees.
  • Settlement timelines will be within 7 working days after the delivery confirmation.

Hullor may feature creators in editorial content, collections, campaigns and promotional activities.

Selection for featured placements remains at Hullor's sole discretion.

8. Commission

Hullor earns revenue through commissions and platform services.

By registering, you agree that Hullor may deduct the 15% commission and service fees from successful sales. Commission may be updated from time to time with prior notice.

9. Promotional Rights

To help your business grow, Hullor may:

  • Feature your products
  • Feature your stories
  • Promote your videos
  • Create promotional campaigns

No additional royalty shall be payable for such promotional use.

10. Community Guidelines

Hullor is built on trust.

Creators are expected to:

  • Treat customers respectfully.
  • Respond professionally.
  • Deliver quality products.
  • Honour commitments.
  • Support fellow creators.
  • Maintain ethical business practices.

    • Any fraudulent or abusive behaviour may result in suspension.

    11. Community Guidelines

    Creators are responsible for:

    • Product quality.
    • Packaging.
    • Timely dispatch.
    • Warranty (where applicable).
    • Customer support relating to their products.

    Hullor may assist in dispute resolution but is not the manufacturer or owner of listed products.

    12. Returns & Refunds

    Creators agree to comply with Hullor's Return & Refund Policy.

    Where returns arise due to product defects, incorrect shipments or creator-related issues, the Creator shall bear the applicable responsibility in accordance with the policy.

    13. Intellectual Property

    Creators shall not upload content or products that violate any trademark, copyright, design or patent rights.

    Hullor reserves the right to remove infringing content immediately.

    14. Prohibited Activities

    Creators shall not:

    • Sell counterfeit products.
    • Engage in fraudulent transactions.
    • Manipulate reviews or ratings.
    • Mislead customers.
    • Copy another creator's brand identity.
    • Circumvent Hullor's payment system for Platform-generated orders.
  • Use customer data obtained through Hullor for unsolicited marketing without consent.

    • 15. Suspension & Termination

    Hullor may suspend or permanently terminate Creator accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent conduct, repeated customer complaints or unlawful activities.

    16. Privacy

    Hullor respects your privacy.

    Personal and business information will be collected, stored and processed in accordance with Hullor's Privacy Policy.

    17. Platform Changes

    Hullor continuously evolves its services.

    Features, tools, commission structures and policies may be modified from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

    18. Limitation of Liability

    Hullor provides the technology platform that connects creators with customers.

    Hullor is not responsible for:

    • Manufacturing defects
    • Product quality
    • Creator warranties
    • Creator representations
    • Business losses arising from Creator actions

    Creators remain solely responsible for the products and content they publish.

    15. Suspension & Termination

    Hullor may suspend or permanently terminate Creator accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent conduct, repeated customer complaints or unlawful activities.

    19. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

    Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

    20. Acceptance

    By clicking "I Agree", creating a Creator account or continuing to use Hullor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
